St Augustine's Norwich | Second World War Roll of Honour

Second World War Roll of Honour, St Augustine's church, Norwich.
Memorial to the servicemen and civilians of the parish and congregation of St Augustine's with St Mary Coslany who died on active service or as a result of enemy action during the Second World War at home and overseas. It was installed along with electric light in 1948 'To the Glory of God and in Undying Memory of those who fell in The War For Freedom 1939-1945'. Located at the south-west end of the nave aisle near the main porch, it is made of mahogany wood decorated with a wreath of copper bay leaves, a Roman symbol of victory.
