St Augustine's Young Peoples' Club, Norwich, late 1930s
Members of St Augustine's youth club. It is thought this photograph was taken just before the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939. Here the men are having a go at knitting, much to the evident amusement of the young ladies. The setting is a bench in the churchyard at the southwest corner of St Augustine's church.
